Arakyol water spring

In the village of Arakyol, there is a unique spring from which water flows, carrying the distinct scent of hydrogen sulfide. When exposed to an open flame, the dissolved gas in the water ignites, producing a dim and cold light. Upon touch, the water feels denser and more resilient than ordinary water, offering an unusual tactile experience.

It’s advised to drink this water in a way that avoids contact with your teeth, as they are the only part of the body for which this water can be genuinely harmful. Bottling and transporting the water is futile, as it loses its healing properties just a few hours after exposure to air. Therefore, the true essence of this remarkable water can only be experienced directly at its source.
