Upon your arrival in Bishkek, you will be greeted and transferred to your hotel for some rest. Once you’re refreshed, join us for a sightseeing tour of the city, where you will explore highlights such as Oak Park, Ala-Too Square, the Philharmonic Hall, the Statue of Manas, Victory Square, and the vibrant Osh Bazaar. Following lunch, we will head to Ala-Archa National Park, located just 40 kilometers away. Here, you’ll enjoy an invigorating hike in the alpine gorge, flanked by impressive snow-covered peaks and dense forests. After returning to the alpine camp, we will transfer back to Bishkek for an overnight stay at your hotel.

At 9:00 AM, we will embark on a transfer to Chon-Kemin village, located approximately 150 kilometers from Bishkek. En route, we will stop to visit the historic Burana Tower, which stands as a testament to the ancient city of Balasagyn (11th-13th centuries). After arriving in Chon-Kemin, you will enjoy a traditional lunch with a Kyrgyz family, giving you a taste of local hospitality. Dinner will be served at your guesthouse, where you will spend the night.

After breakfast, we will drive to the starting point for our horseback riding adventure. You will meet your horsemen and mount your horses for a ride into the stunning Kalmakashu Gorge, which will last approximately 4-5 hours. During the ride, we will stop for a picnic lunch amidst the breathtaking scenery, characterized by lush meadows bursting with colorful flowers. At the end of the day, we will set up camp in tents, at an altitude of 2,500 meters above sea level, to enjoy the serene mountain atmosphere.

After a hearty breakfast, we will continue our horseback journey, traversing the enchanting landscape. The route leads us to the majestic Kalmakashu Pass, which rises to 3,530 meters. After crossing the pass, we will enjoy a picnic lunch before riding down to the town of Balykchy. Upon arrival, a vehicle will be waiting to take us to Cholpon-Ata, where you will stay overnight at a comfortable hotel or guesthouse.

Following breakfast, we will visit an open-air museum showcasing ancient petroglyphs in Cholpon-Ata. This fascinating site features an art gallery of stone carvings dating back to 500 BC to 100 AD, depicting scenes of wildlife, including wolves, ibex, and horses. After our exploration, we will transfer back to Bishkek (approximately 260 kilometers). You will have the evening to relax at your hotel or guesthouse before enjoying a farewell dinner with your fellow travelers.
