Upon arrival in Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan, you will be greeted and transferred to your hotel for check-in. After taking some time to rest, embark on a city tour where you’ll explore the Soviet-era architecture, including the iconic Philharmonic Concert Hall and the Government Building. You’ll also visit the Monument of Manas, a tribute to the legendary hero of Kyrgyz folklore, and the Museum of Fine Arts. Bishkek is renowned for its lush parks and tree-lined streets, providing a green oasis even in the heat of summer. In the afternoon, venture to Ala-Archa National Park, located just 40 km from the city, to witness the dramatic alpine scenery and the swift waters of the Ala-Archa River. After an invigorating day, return to Bishkek for an overnight stay.

In the morning, gather for the car pickup with our company representative. Following a brief orientation and contract signing, set off on your journey toward Son-Kul Lake, situated 400 km away. Along the way, enjoy a delightful lunch in the village of Kochkor. Upon arrival at Son-Kul in the afternoon, you will pass through the picturesque Kalmak Ashuu Pass (3400 m). This high-altitude lake is a hidden gem on a treeless plateau (3016 m), where local shepherds bring their livestock during the summer months, setting up traditional yurts for shelter. Here, you will be invited to taste kymyz, a national drink made from fermented mare’s milk, along with homemade dairy products and jams. Spend the night in a yurt, experiencing the authentic nomadic lifestyle.

After breakfast, begin your drive toward Tash-Rabat, a historical stone caravanserai from the 14th century. This day’s journey will take you through the breathtaking 33 Parrots Pass (3000 m) and Dolon Pass (3020 m). Stop for lunch in the town of Naryn, nestled along the fast-flowing Naryn River. Tash-Rabat, located deep in the Tian Shan Mountains, is a remarkable structure built into the mountainside (3200 m), historically serving as a shelter for Silk Road travelers. With 31 rooms and walls over a meter thick, this unique building also housed underground prison cells for ancient thieves. After exploring this historical site, you’ll settle in for the night in a yurt near Tash-Rabat.

Following breakfast, enjoy some leisure time to explore the Tash-Rabat area or hike in the stunning surroundings. After lunch at a nearby yurt camp, continue your journey to Naryn. This picturesque town, characterized by its long and narrow shape, is situated along the Naryn River, the longest river in Kyrgyzstan (535 km). The town is set between steep cliffs, creating a dramatic backdrop. Spend the night at a cozy guesthouse, where you can relax and reflect on the day’s adventures.

Start your day early and drive towards Tamga village. Today’s route takes you through the Tosor Pass (4020 m), one of the highest in Kyrgyzstan, offering stunning views of the surrounding peaks and valleys. Enjoy lunch along the way before reaching Tamga, where you will spend the night at a guesthouse, allowing you to relax and rejuvenate after the long drive.

After breakfast, travel to the stunning Jety-Oguz Gorge, located just 28 km southwest of Karakol. Known for its dramatic landscapes, Jety-Oguz is famous for its towering red rock formations, which resemble seven bulls standing together. The name Jety-Oguz translates to “Seven Bulls” in Kyrgyz. The gorge features lush mountain slopes and the enchanting Broken Heart Rock, a popular photo spot. Enjoy hiking in the gorge, where you can also visit the nearby hot springs known for their therapeutic properties. After your adventures, transfer to the town of Karakol, where you’ll have lunch at a local café. Explore the town’s rich history with visits to the M.V. Prejvalsky Museum, dedicated to the renowned explorer, and the unique Dungan Mosque, built in traditional Chinese style without the use of metal nails. Conclude your day with a delightful dinner hosted by a local Uigur family, where you’ll experience their culture and cuisine firsthand. Overnight in a hotel in Karakol.

Enjoy breakfast before heading to Cholpon-Ata, located on the northern shore of Issyk-Kul Lake (120 km). On your journey, take a detour to Grigorievska Gorge, where you’ll discover three breathtaking mountain lakes. After a picnic lunch amidst the stunning scenery, continue to Cholpon-Ata, where you’ll visit an open-air art gallery featuring ancient stone carvings that date back to 500 BC to 100 AD. These captivating carvings depict a variety of wildlife and hunting scenes. Spend your evening at leisure, enjoying the picturesque views of the lake and surrounding mountains. Overnight at a hotel in Cholpon-Ata.

After breakfast, enjoy your final moments at Issyk-Kul Lake before being picked up for your transfer back to Bishkek (280 km). Your route will take you through the stunning Boom Gorge, where you can marvel at the impressive landscapes. On the way, stop at Burana Tower, a historical minaret dating back to the 11th century, and explore the open-air museum featuring ancient stone warriors.
We will make a stop for car washing. Cars are returned back to company. Employees will make a quick check of the cars. The deposit is paid back in full to the clients if no damage to the vehicle is done.
