The Arkadag park, which spans seven hectares at the intersection of Atamurat Niyazov Avenue (formerly Chekhov) and Neutrality Avenue (formerly Podvoysky), is a striking example of urban green space blending with contemporary design.
Upon approaching the main entrance, visitors are greeted by broad staircases and an impressive array of streetlights, setting a majestic tone for the park.
The first landing is adorned with fountains designed in the shape of the eight-pointed star of Oghuz Khan. These fountains, positioned with a view of the new white marble residential high-rises, create a stunning visual impact. In the center, between the fountains, stands an eight-meter-tall clock tower. The clock’s design features intricate figures of Akhal-Teke horses, a symbol of pride for the Turkmen people.
