The Turkmenistan Museum of Fine Arts is one of the largest museums in Central Asia. Officially opened in 2005, the museum was developed by the renowned French company Bouygues. Its impressive structure encompasses three floors and covers a total area of 17,000 square meters, situating it in the heart of Ashgabat, not far from the government district.
Inside the museum, visitors can explore 11 distinct exhibition halls. These spaces showcase a diverse array of artworks, encompassing not only pieces from local Turkmen culture but also significant examples of European and Asian art. The museum’s extensive collection reflects a broad spectrum of artistic traditions and styles, highlighting the global connections and cultural exchanges that have shaped the region.
