Getting to Zaamin

The Zaamin Nature Reserve is located in the northern part of the Turkestan Range of the Pamir-Alay in the Zaamin district of the Jizzakh region in Uzbekistan. The distance between Tashkent and Zaamin is approximately 300 kilometers, which can be covered by train, bus, or car.

By Train

There are no direct trains from Tashkent to Zaamin, but you can reach your destination by transferring in the city of Jizzakh. In the near future, a railway station is expected to open in the village of Dashtabad, which will facilitate direct travel.

By Bus

Traveling by bus also requires a transfer in Jizzakh. The journey from Tashkent to Jizzakh takes about 2.5 hours (approximately 220 kilometers), and from Jizzakh (from the train station or bus station) to Zaamin takes about an hour (approximately 60 kilometers).

By Car

You can drive to the Zaamin Nature Reserve by following the route Tashkent – Gulistan – Jizzakh – Zaamin or Tashkent – Gulistan – Yangiyer – Zaamin.

By Taxi

Hiring a taxi is another option. Taxis can be easily found at the Tashkent bus station near the Almazar metro station.
