Good evening, everyone!

Could you please advise which of these places are worth visiting around Kutaisi?

  1. Prometheus Cave
  2. Tskaltubo – abandoned sanatoriums
  3. Martvili Canyons
  4. Nine Crosses
  5. Vani Hot Springs
  6. Okatse Canyon

And if anyone happens to have contacts for companies that organize rafting trips, I'd also appreciate that. Is rafting actually worth it?

We're planning to spend about 2–3 days in the area and will be traveling by car. Is it realistic to visit these places within that timeframe? Are there currently any queues at the attractions?

You can easily do Tskaltubo and Prometheus Cave (it's just outside the city) in one day, and you'll still have time for an evening walk in the park.

As for Vani, there won't really be any queues there. It's more of a public attraction — people go if they feel like it.

Nine Crosses is about an hour's drive from Kutaisi, maybe even a bit more. You'll have to hike uphill on foot, and if you're not used to it, you'll get pretty tired.

As for the canyons, it would be better if the weather warmed up a bit more. But even now, you could visit both of them in a single day just for sightseeing.

You could even head to Vani in the evening after the canyons if you still have the energy.

There will most likely be a queue at Prometheus Cave because visitors are admitted in groups. But the entire tour probably takes no more than an hour. It's about a 15-minute drive from Tskaltubo.

Thank you for the information! Do you happen to know anything about rafting?

To be honest, I've never really looked into it.

There's a website called Jomardoba.ge. Their phone number is listed at the bottom of the page: 555-59-59-52.

Try contacting them. The website is dedicated specifically to rafting, and they offer rafting tours with prices listed as well.
