Thank you for the info. I have read online that in Samarkand there is a combined ticket that works for the main attractions, and that you can buy it at the entrance to the Registan. Is that true? If yes, please tell me its price, which attractions it covers, and whether you think it’s worth it. Thank you, again.

There is no such single ticket. At each site you will need to buy a separate ticket at the ticket office.

Friends, could you please tell me the average cost of entrance tickets for foreigners at major attractions? On the Registan website, the ticket section doesn’t open. For Gur-e Amir, AI says 40–75 thousand sum, which is a very wide range. For the Ulugh Beg Observatory it also says from 10 to 50 thousand sum.

It’s currently +13–15°C here, no crowds anywhere, very pleasant — it’s even a pity to fly back into the cold.

I’ll leave the prices for the main attractions as of February 2026 (in sums).

The exchange rate of the sum to the dollar is roughly 12,000 sums : $1.

Tashkent TV Tower — 100,000
Bukhara: almost all historical locations are free.
Ark Fortress — 60,000
Shukhov Tower — 40,000
Zindan Prison and the Ferris wheel — 20,000 each
Kalyan Mosque — 15,000 (or 20,000? Not sure here)

Samarkand (mind-blowing)
Registan — 100,000 no light show at the moment
Shah-i-Zinda — 80,000
Gur-e-Amir — 75,000
Bibi-Khanym — 65,000

For locals, prices are lower by 2–10 times.

If anyone didn’t know — the Gur-e-Amir Mausoleum (Tamerlane’s mausoleum) is open until midnight. After 10:00 PM there are hardly any people at all. We dropped in by chance yesterday and spent almost an hour there. It’s absolutely stunning! Entrance is 75,000 soum per person.
