Please tell me how to get from Tashkent to Amirsay, to the Chinarkent cable car, at a reasonable cost? As I understand, there are now only two trains a day from Tashkent, one very early and the other very late. Do buses, minivans, or other transport options run there? We are planning a one-day trip with the family, a sightseeing tour.
If you're traveling with family, it's better to take a taxi – buses and trains will take up a lot of time.
A Yandex taxi from Tashkent to Amirsay will cost about 150,000 som (a little over $10 USD – cheap by any standards).
Another option is to look for the Telegram group, but they are mostly in Russian, try "Доступный туризм Ташкент" they run trips to Amirsay every day, and they also offer sightseeing tours to several locations.
We went with "Трансфер в горы," this is a group in Telegram. $50 for a car for the whole day: Amirsay, the Chimgan cable car, Charvak (two viewpoints), petroglyphs. Everything was on time, no delays, we made arrangements in advance from Moscow.
