Hey everyone!

I could really use some tips. I’m landing in Tashkent at 6:30 PM and have a flight to Tbilisi the next morning at 8:00 AM.

  1. Where’s a good spot to chill and catch some rest before my next flight?
  2. Is there a transit lounge or somewhere inside the airport where I can hang out? And what about food options—any restaurants?
  3. If I decide to step out of the airport, will I be able to come back in the next morning?

Thanks a ton!

Hey Nuadafyn!

I’ve got some info for you. There’s an Airport Hotel that’s perfect for transit passengers. You can book a stay for a couple of hours or even overnight, depending on what you need. Just a heads-up: if you go through passport control and leave the airport, you can’t get back in, so keep that in mind!

To access the hotel, make sure you have a boarding pass from the check-in desk (there is one in transit area for transit passengers) — online mobile passes won’t cut it.

As for food, there are a few cafés around, but no full-on restaurants. If you’re looking for a place to sleep, you can either hit the Airport Hotel, find a bench in the terminal, or check out an Airbnb or hotel in the city in case you don't need visa and can enter the country freely.

Hope this helps!

I’ll be spending a night in Tashkent with an early flight the next morning. Can anyone suggest a hotel that’s close to the airport?

Hello there!

I stayed at the KHAMSA Tashkent Airport Hotel, specifically at the Sleep Lounge & Showers located in Terminal 2—this area is for transit passengers only. The hotel is quite modern and conveniently positioned right before passport control. It has 24 rooms for passengers facing flight delays or transit waits.

I also had a lengthy layover of about 9 hours, and I was flying out early the next morning to Terminal 3 for my flight to Urgench. They provided a complimentary shuttle service, which was really helpful.

Wishing you a great trip!
