Hi, if anyone seeks for some original souvenir from Uzbekistan I can recommend a local brand called 'Kanishka' that make leather things, very interesting.

There is a good souvenir shop near the Center of Islamic Civilization (opening on March 21). If you are a tourist, you will most likely end up near this place. The price of the plates is 600–750 thousand soums. There are cheaper ones, there are more expensive ones. A young guy there makes them himself.

In the video he makes them himself. We went into the shop — he was working. Then he showed how he makes them. His brother also makes them in another shop. Their father taught them.
