Uzbekistan borders five countries: Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Afghanistan, and Turkmenistan and is dotted with 12 official border crossing points listed below.

It is highly advisable to arrive to the border crossing points of Uzbekistan-Turkmenistan no later than 16:30, although the border works till 18:00, as later arrival decreases your chances to cross them due to time required for border formalities and distance up to another country’s border.
The border crossing point on Turkmenistan side might close for lunch (not a usual case) that will add some hours to reach the neighbouring country.
