Upon arrival, a knowledgeable local guide and driver will be there to welcome you and assist with transferring to your hotel to drop off your luggage.

The first destination is the legendary Tomb of Prophet Noah, a significant pilgrimage site where many visitors come to pay their respects, as it is believed to be the final resting place of Noah. Following this, you’ll visit the Momine Khatun Mausoleum, a stunning architectural marvel built in 1186 in honor of Muhammad Jahan Pahlavan’s mother, symbolizing the region’s rich heritage.

Next, explore the exquisite Khan’s Palace, a residence of the local ruler, Rahim Khan, dating back to the 18th and 19th centuries. Situated within the Old Fortress, this palace not only showcases remarkable architecture but also provides breathtaking views of the city.

Your exploration continues at the Yusif Ibn Kuseyir Tomb, constructed between 1161 and 1162, known for its unique octagonal shape and pyramid-like roof adorned with kufi inscriptions from the Quran. In the afternoon, head to Garabaghlar village in the Sharur region to visit the Garabaglar Mausoleum complex, which features a beautifully crafted tomb and two elegant minarets.

Conclude your day at the fascinating Duzdagh Salt Mines Hospital, a former salt mine transformed into a therapeutic retreat. After exploring the intriguing underground tunnels and learning about the health benefits of salt therapy, return to Nakhichevan city for an overnight stay at your hotel.
