After landing in Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan, you will be greeted and transferred to your hotel. Following a brief rest, the day begins with a city tour that covers key landmarks, including the Museum of Fine Arts, Ala-Too Square, and the Philharmonic Square. After lunch, you’ll embark on an excursion to the Ala-Archa National Park, located just 40 kilometers outside the city. Nestled in an alpine gorge, this stunning park offers spectacular views of snow-covered peaks and forested slopes. After hiking in the area, you will return to Bishkek for the night.
In the morning, a short flight will take you to Osh, one of Kyrgyzstan’s oldest cities and a historic Silk Road stop. Upon arrival, enjoy a guided city tour featuring a visit to the sacred Suleiman-Too Mountain, which has religious significance dating back to King Solomon. You’ll also explore the famous Osh Bazaar, which has been an essential marketplace since the time of the Great Silk Road. Afterward, you’ll check into your hotel in Osh.
After breakfast, set off on a scenic drive toward Sary-Tash, a village at the gateway to Lenin Peak. As you journey through changing landscapes of tree-lined mountain slopes and flowing rivers, the beauty of the Kyrgyz countryside unfolds before you. The route takes you over the Taldyk Pass at 3,615 meters, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the mountains. You’ll arrive in Sary-Tash by late afternoon, where dinner and overnight accommodations await in a cozy homestay.
Today marks the highlight of the tour – your journey to the Lenin Peak Base Camp. Lenin Peak is one of the most climbed 7,000-meter mountains in the world, due to its relative accessibility and breathtaking surroundings. The base camp provides stunning views of towering glaciers and rugged peaks, a paradise for photography and hiking. You’ll have time to explore the area, take pictures, and enjoy the unique atmosphere before settling down for the night in a tent camp at the base of the mountain.
After a hearty breakfast at the base camp, you’ll return to Osh. Upon arrival, enjoy some free time to explore the city or relax. Overnight at your hotel in Osh.
Fly back to Bishkek, where your guide will meet you and transfer you to the stunning Issyk-Kul Lake. On the way, you’ll visit the Burana Tower, a significant historical monument dating back to the 11th century. The tower was once part of the ancient city of Balasagun, an important Silk Road stop. After lunch at a local Kyrgyz family home, where you’ll enjoy traditional cuisine, you will continue to Cholpon-Ata, a resort town on the northern shore of Issyk-Kul Lake. Overnight at a lakeside hotel.
Start your day with a visit to Cholpon-Ata, where you’ll see ancient petroglyphs carved into the rocks and visit the Ethnographic Museum. Afterward, return to Bishkek, where you’ll have a farewell dinner and reflect on your incredible journey. Overnight at the hotel.
After breakfast, you’ll be transferred to the airport for your onward journey, concluding your unforgettable Kyrgyzstan adventure.
