Situated in the heart of Karmana, near the mausoleum of Kasim Sheikh, the Mir Sayid Bahrom Mausoleum houses the mausoleum itself but also includes a small mosque. Constructed around 1200, the mausoleum underwent its latest restoration in 1976.

Historians have limited information about Mir Sayid Bahrom, except that he was a member of the prestigious Samanid dynasty. According to the historical account «Samarqand» by Abu Tahir Khwaja Samarkandi, Mir Sayid Bahrom was highly respected for his profound knowledge, intellect, and reputed ability to perform miracles. His influence was such that during a rebellion in 874, which started in Bukhara and spread across Maveranahr to Karmana, his reputation remained undiminished.

The mausoleum is notable for being one of the smallest yet most exquisitely decorated mausoleums in Uzbekistan. Its terracotta patterns, carved brick inserts, and intricate geometric ornamentation, known as girikh, draw parallels with the famous Samanid Mausoleum in Bukhara. The structure is square-shaped, topped with a small dome, and features a beautifully arched entrance portal. This portal is framed with a rectangular band that bears a Kufic inscription, adding to the structure’s historical authenticity and charm.

Inside the mausoleum, a marble tomb is prominently displayed, covered with gold stitching that reflects the high regard for Mir Sayid Bahrom. The walls form an octagon, with arches that support the small dome. These arches are adorned with elegant terracotta inserts and smooth wooden ornaments, showcasing the craftsmanship of the period.

Adjacent to the mausoleum is a mosque that complements the spiritual atmosphere of the site. This mosque is surrounded by a long veranda, supported by wooden columns intricately carved with patterns. Although this part of the structure is a modern addition, it blends seamlessly with the historical elements, with the courtyard and veranda floor paved with red bricks.
