Hi, could someone please tell me how to reserve seats in advance for the folklore show at Nadir Divan-Begi Madrasa in Bukhara?

Do you happen to know the price? How much per person?
Was it with dinner or without? What time does it start?

With dinner – 250,000 soums per person.
Without dinner – I think around 100,000.
The show with dinner starts at 19:30, and without dinner – at 17:30.

One more thing – how many days in advance one can place a reservation?

Hi everyone,
For those who went to the folklore show with dinner – was the food any good? What did they serve?
Or is it better to go without dinner and then eat at a proper restaurant afterward?
I’ve read mixed reviews... Some say the food isn’t tasty.
Anyone who’s been to the show, please share your experience – is the dinner worth it or not?

Hi there!
I went – honestly, it didn’t really impress me.

The girls’ dancing was more like amateur level (which it actually is – I asked them afterward), and it alternates with a fashion show.

The musicians and singers, though, were professional – they played and sang really well.

There are options with dinner and without (I chose without – 100,000 soums).

Waiters were running around bringing food, and there were a lot of people.

We really enjoyed the show in the old city. The performers were dancers from the philharmonic, doing traditional Uzbek dances. There was a small buffet, a fashion show with Uzbek clothing, and they played the doira and other traditional instruments.

@leu00so Was it easy to book? How did you do it? Does it get packed? I really would like to go.

@kapena You can book even the same day, just pass by in the morning and place a reservation. Or ask your guide to do that if you would have one. They also mentioned a contact of show administration here several messages above, through which you can place a reservation

@kapena Our guide made the reservation for us and paid the deposit in advance. We paid after the tour. It cost 250,000 soums with dinner, or 100,000 soums without dinner.

@msmk You went to the show, did I get that right? How did you like it? I’ve read mixed reviews about it.

I really liked it! The girls dance in beautiful costumes — they’re very graceful, with live music and singing. I especially enjoyed the fashion show part. The outfits were stunning! By the way, after the show you can actually buy those outfits, though they’re not cheap.

The performance takes place twice in the evening — at 6:00 PM and 8:00 PM.
