Turkmenistan boasts several prominent nature reserves, including Badkhyz, Repetek, Krasnovodsky, and Kugitang. In addition to these protected areas, the country is home to a range of health and wellness resorts that offer a variety of treatments and preventative care options. Among these, the Firyuza and Bairam-Ali resorts are renowned for their favorable climatic conditions, while Archman and Mollakara are distinguished by their balneological properties.

Located in the southeastern part of Turkmenistan, the balneological sanatorium «Turkmenbashi» is situated in Bairam-Ali, approximately 360 kilometers from Ashgabat. This facility is particularly beneficial for individuals with kidney and heart conditions. On the western side of the country, the Mollagara resort stands out for its unique balneary features, providing specialized therapeutic treatments.

The «Archman» resort, found in the foothills of the Kopet Dagh and about 130 kilometers from Ashgabat, is known for its radon-rich mineral waters, which offer both therapeutic and health-promoting benefits. Additionally, the areas of Archabil and Gokdere, nestled in a mountain gorge near Ashgabat, offer recreational opportunities such as mountain climbing, horseback riding, and picnicking, providing a perfect blend of adventure and relaxation.
