Hey, is it possible to climb on the top of the Chor Minor mosque as shown here in the photo below?

Yes, it’s very easy — you just go inside, they’ll ask you to pay 15,000 soums, and you can go up.

The dishware shop across from the Kolkhoz Market (the central market) has prices that are 2–3 times cheaper.

Just got back from Bukhara.
People often ask about ceramics.
I found shop No. 51 — it was recommended here.
It’s located across the road from the kolkhoz market.
I spent a long time looking for it inside the market itself.
But across the road there is a large building with many small shops and goods displayed outside. The shops are numbered — just follow the numbers; it will be to the left.
They really do have a large assortment there, and the prices are almost twice as cheap as in the old city.

In hand luggage at the airport on Uzbekistan Airways — they don’t let ceramics through. Well, maybe because I told the inspectors that I had ceramics. Otherwise, it might have passed.

And one more thing: if you go to the market, they have very cheap and excellent terry towels and children’s outfits

Today we went to Varanet — absolutely loved it. It’s not really a botanical garden, but more like a huge greenhouse complex, and honestly it’s so cool. I regretted a million times that there’s nothing like this in St. Petersburg as a place to relax)

Great leisure areas, huge playgrounds, and the food court zone is just 💚. For some reason there are almost no tourists — mostly locals relaxing with their families.

The air conditioning works, classical music is playing. It gets a bit stuffy where the zoo area is, but we spent half a day here after the guided tour, and neither the kids nor I wanted to leave, but it was already starting to get dark.
