For the first time I want to visit Tashkent from March 19 to March 22. In 3 days what can we see? I’m traveling with my teenage son, 14 years old, it’s his first time too. Please recommend places to go and things to see.

On the first day you can just walk around, explore the center, stroll to Tashkent City, and from there walk on foot to Magic City.

On the second day you can visit the Chorsu Bazaar area, the Gulbazor mahalla, Hazrati Imam Complex, and the Chorsu market itself.
All these locations are relatively close, the walk will take the whole day, you’ll see the historical part of Tashkent.
Set aside some time and separately make sure to visit the Plov Center in the area of the Tashkent TV Tower, it’s a touristy, colorful place, prices are демократичные (very reasonable).

On the third day, after you’ve gotten to know the city, go wherever you feel like.
To the movies, to the oceanarium, maybe take a walk around a shopping mall.

If you want to eat something homemade on a budget, in the square near Amir Timur Square there is a café called Dietka, it’s something like a canteen where students and office workers have lunch, it often saves me in the center.

I think this is the best way to spend 3 days in Tashkent.
You’ll see both the old and the new city.

Yes, definitely take a ride on the metro, the stations Kosmonavtlar Station and Alisher Navoi Station are my absolute favorites.

You’re welcome.
I take all my guests along this route if they’re coming for a short time.
Everyone is satisfied.

I would also add Seoul Mun. From 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm on any day. It’s important (!) to be there at the beginning of any hour starting from six in the evening.

It’s an embankment, with a powerful fountain and lots of shops and cafés.
You can easily walk there from Magic City — Magic – Seoul.

If you’re interested in souvenirs, at Chorsu you can buy amazing women’s chapan coats. At the Main Post Office in the area of Amir Timur Square they sell cool postcards. And also in Uzbekistan there’s a local brand called Kanishka.
They have products made of natural leather — bags, wallets, cotton T-shirts, and in general it’s not particularly expensive.
I take everyone there too.
