Skazka Canyon

Skazka, or Fairy Tale Canyon, is a must-see natural attraction on the southern shore of Lake Issyk-Kul, just 120 kilometers from Balykchi and near the village of Tosor. This captivating canyon is renowned for its stunning red clay formations, which have been sculpted by wind over the years into intricate, almost magical shapes.

The canyon, set in a gorge bearing the same name, is a landscape straight out of a storybook. One of its most famous features is the «Chinese Wall,» named for its striking resemblance to the Great Wall of China.
