Upon your arrival in Baku, our friendly driver will be waiting to greet you and assist you with your luggage as you head to your hotel. After checking in and dropping off your bags, you’ll be ready to embark on an exciting exploration of the city.

Your sightseeing adventure begins at Martyrs Lane, known locally as ‘Shehidler Khiyabany.’ As you stroll through this poignant memorial, take a moment to appreciate the stunning views that overlook the picturesque Baku coastline. This serene location pays tribute to those who sacrificed their lives for the country and offers a reflective atmosphere.

Next, you will venture into Icheri Sheher, the old city of Baku, where history comes alive. Here, you will visit the magnificent Shirvan Shahs’ Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage site that showcases the architectural brilliance of the 15th century. What an incredible experience! I joined the two-day tour of Baku and the Absheron Peninsula with a group of friends, and it was one of the best decisions we made during our travels. Our guide was fantastic, sharing fascinating stories about each location. The first day was filled with exploring Baku’s historical sites, and I particularly loved wandering through Icheri Sheher. The architecture is stunning! On the second day, Gobustan was a highlight for me. The petroglyphs are truly remarkable, and the mud volcanoes were something I had never seen before. Yanardag Mountain, with its eternal flames, was simply magical. The tour also included plenty of opportunities to taste local dishes, which were delicious!
