Your adventure begins with a morning flight from Tashkent to Termez, where you’ll be met by your guide and driver at the airport. The tour starts with a visit to the Kokildor-Ota Khanaka, a 16th-century retreat once frequented by Sufi dervishes. Next, explore the Kirk Kiz Fortress, a summer residence from the 9th-10th centuries belonging to the Samani rulers. Continue to the Sultan Saodat Ensemble, a historical complex dating back to the 12th-15th centuries, which houses the graves of the prominent Sayyid Dynasty. You will also visit Zurmala, a towering 12-meter-high Buddhist stupa from the 2nd-1st centuries BC. Day 1Tashkent to Termez

Your journey to Termez begins with an early morning flight from Tashkent. You will depart on Flight HY605 at 08:45 from the domestic terminal of Tashkent Airport, arriving in Termez at 10:05. Upon arrival, a driver and guide will greet you at the airport to start your exploration of this ancient city.

The day’s tour will kick off with a visit to the Kokildor-Ota Khanaka, a 16th-century retreat that once served as a haven for Sufi dervishes. Following this, you will explore the Kirk Kiz Fortress, a historical site from the 9th-10th centuries that was once a summer residence for the Samani rulers. The next stop is the Sultan Saodat Ensemble, an extensive complex from the 12th to 15th centuries, which includes the mausoleums of the influential Sayyid Dynasty.

Continue your historical journey with a visit to Zurmala, a significant Buddhist stupa from the 2nd-1st centuries BC. This 12-meter-high structure provides insight into Termez’s Buddhist heritage. The afternoon will be spent exploring Kara-Tepe and Fayaz-Tepe, two important Buddhist archaeological sites dating from the 1st century BC to AD. Day 2Termez to Sangardak Waterfall and Boysun

After breakfast at the hotel, begin your day with a scenic drive from Termez to the Sangardak Waterfall, located approximately 200 kilometers away. This picturesque natural wonder is renowned for its numerous streams cascading down a rocky slope, creating a mesmerizing display of rainbows on sunny days.

On the way to Sangardak, make a stop at the Jarkurgan Minaret, a notable Islamic monument. Once you arrive at the waterfall, enjoy a picnic lunch amid the serene natural surroundings. Following lunch, continue your journey to Boysun, a village nestled in the stunning Gissar Range. Boysun is known for its rich cultural heritage and unique traditions, which have earned it UNESCO recognition.

Spend the night in a local guesthouse in Boysun, where you can experience traditional hospitality and relax after a day of exploration. Dinner will be served at the guesthouse.

Day 3Boysun to Derbent Canyon and Return to Tashkent

On your final day, enjoy breakfast at the guesthouse before departing Boysun for Karshi. En route, stop at the Derbent Canyon, known for its dramatic landscapes and historical significance. Explore the Iron Gates of Derbent, a renowned landmark with towering cliffs that have historically served as a vital transit point between central and southern Uzbekistan.

After visiting the canyon, continue your drive to Karshi. From Karshi, board the high-speed Afrosiyob train, which will take you back to Tashkent. The train departs at 16:46 and will arrive in Tashkent at 20:10. Upon arrival in Tashkent, you will be transferred to your hotel or private residence, marking the end of your captivating three-day tour of Termez and its remarkable surroundings.
