Day 1Shymkent – Tashkent

  • Morning: Arrival at Tashkent
    Our adventure begins as you meet your driver at the Uzbekistan-Kazakhstan border point, Chernyaevka, where you will be transferred to your hotel in Tashkent. After check-in and settling in, enjoy some free time to relax before the tour begins.

  • Afternoon: Tashkent City Tour
    At 1:00 PM, your guide will meet you at your hotel to begin exploring the capital city of Uzbekistan.

  • Khast-Imam Complex: Start with a visit to the Khast-Imam Complex, the spiritual heart of Tashkent. Here, you will see the famous Quran of Caliph Uthman, the oldest Quran manuscript in the world. Explore the complex, which includes the Madrasah of Barak-Khan, Tillya-Sheykh Mosque, the Mausoleum of Saint Kaffal Shashi, and the Islamic Institute of Imam al-Bukhari.

    Start your day early with a transfer to the railway station at 7:15 AM to catch the Afrosiyob high-speed train from Tashkent to Samarkand. The train departs at 8:00 AM and arrives at 10:10 AM in Samarkand, a city renowned for its architectural wonders and historical significance.

  • Late Morning: Samarkand City Tour
    Upon arrival, your guide and driver will meet you at the station for a full day of sightseeing in one of the most famous cities on the Silk Road.

  • Registan Square: Begin with a visit to Registan Square, the heart of Samarkand, and a UNESCO World Heritage site. This architectural masterpiece is surrounded by three grand madrasahs: Ulugh Beg Madrasah, Tilya-Kori Madrasah, and Sher-Dor Madrasah, each a fine example of Islamic architecture.

  • Gur-Emir Mausoleum: After Registan, head to the Gur-Emir Mausoleum, the final resting place of the great conqueror, Timur (Tamerlane). The structure is known for its grand dome and intricate tile work.

Day 3Tashkent – Departure

  • Morning: Enjoy a relaxing breakfast at your hotel before checking out.
  • Transfer to the Border: Your driver will transfer you to the Uzbekistan-Kazakhstan border at Chernyaevka, where your 3-day tour of Tashkent and Samarkand concludes.
