Yesterday we went to Al-Bukhari.
Mixed feelings. Of course, it’s very beautiful and impressive, both in daylight and especially with the lighting — they turned it on yesterday at 19:40. Entrance to the complex itself (the surrounding area and inner courtyard) is free for everyone, you don’t have to go into the museum.
The museum is open until 20:00, the last ticket, as I understood, is sold around 19:00, but that’s not certain.
On the other hand, the museum and the excursion are nothing special, it lasted exactly 20 minutes, from 18:20 to 18:40, then we were asked to leave, because you can only walk around with a guide.
The museum is small, modern, but if you’ve been to the new Center of Islamic Civilization in Tashkent — there’s nothing to do here. Even if you haven’t been — still nothing to do ) The tour is like: here is a photo of the Quran, here is a photo of a scholar, here is a tree.
At the same time, the price is 500,000 for two non-residents for a 20-minute museum visit with a guide.
There’s nothing else to do on the territory.
Taxi there was 73,000, took 45 minutes, back 60,000, took 30 minutes to Siab, easy to call, although everyone told me it’s hard to get back.
In general, if you need to kill an evening — you can go, if you don’t have many days — then Registan.
