Upon arrival in Bishkek, formerly known as Frunze, you’ll be greeted and transferred to your accommodation at the Asia Mountains Hotel or a similar establishment (approximately 40 km). Begin your day with breakfast and a chance to rest.
Later, embark on a city tour, starting at Ala-Too Square, a vibrant centerpiece of the city. Visit the Historical Museum and enjoy a leisurely walk through Oak Park, which hosts an open-air sculpture gallery. After lunch, continue your exploration with a visit to Osh Bazaar, where you can browse stalls offering spices, souvenirs, and traditional items. Conclude the day with visits to the Kyrgyz Drama Theater and the Philharmonic House.

After breakfast, transfer to Chon-Kemin National Park (160 km) to begin your trek. At the starting point (1,800 m), you’ll meet the local team and pack horses for luggage. Embark on a 4-5-hour trek through the Tory-Aigyr Gorge, surrounded by fields of wild edelweiss. Set up camp for the night in tents.
After an early breakfast, trek to the Tory-Aigyr Pass (3,150 m) and descend to the enchanting Kol-Kogur Lake (5-6 hours). The lake, surrounded by snow-capped peaks, shines like a sapphire against the alpine landscape. Overnight stay in tents near the lake at 2,550 m.
Trek over the Kol-Kogur Pass (3,100 m) and descend through lush alpine meadows dotted with grazing livestock and traditional yurts. Enjoy a picnic along the way before settling into a campsite at 2,400 m for the night.
Complete your trek with a descent to the mouth of the Kol-Tor Valley (3-4 hours). Visit local women crafting traditional felt carpets and, optionally, enjoy an eagle hunting demonstration in Bokonbaevo. Stay in cozy family guesthouses and savor a traditional Kyrgyz dinner (Beshbarmak) with local hosts.
Transfer 130 km to Song-Kul Lake, a pristine alpine gem at 3,030 m. Immerse yourself in the nomadic lifestyle as you stay in a yurt camp and interact with shepherds. Lunch and dinner will be served in the camp.
