Start your day with a delicious breakfast at the hotel. At 10:00 AM, embark on a captivating excursion to Highland Park, where you can take in breathtaking views of Baku and the picturesque Baku Bay. Next, explore the historic Old City, known as Icheri Sheher, home to numerous architectural gems, including the Palace of the Shirvanshahs and the iconic Maiden Tower.
After a delightful lunch, continue your journey to the Heydar Aliyev Center, an architectural marvel designed by the renowned Zaha Hadid. This center has gained international acclaim for its innovative design and houses various cultural and artistic exhibitions. After a full day of exploration, return to your hotel around 6:00 PM, where you can enjoy some leisure time.
Following breakfast at the hotel, prepare for a day filled with remarkable sights. At 10:00 AM, set off for the Gobustan National Park, an open-air museum featuring ancient petroglyphs that date back thousands of years. Before the tour, visit the interactive museum to learn about the fascinating history of the area.
Next, venture to the unique mud volcanoes, a natural phenomenon that has made Azerbaijan famous. These intriguing geological formations are unlike anything else in the world. Afterward, at 2:00 PM, visit the Temple of Fire Worshipers, Ateshgah, which has a rich history tied to Zoroastrianism and showcases the eternal flames that have burned for centuries.
Conclude your day with a visit to the nearby Yanardag, known for its eternal flames. Return to your hotel by 18:00 for relaxation.
After breakfast, we’ll depart at 10:00 AM for a scenic journey to Azerbaijan’s beautiful regions. Our first stop is Lahij, a charming village renowned for its traditional craftsmanship and cobbled streets. Here, you’ll experience the rich cultural heritage of local artisans. Following this, we will visit the stunning Nohur Lake, famous for its crystal-clear waters surrounded by lush forests. By 18:00, we’ll arrive in the Sheki region, where you’ll check into your hotel and enjoy some leisure time.
Start your day with breakfast, then at 10:00 AM, we’ll explore the historic city of Sheki, nestled in the foothills of the Greater Caucasus. Visit the magnificent Sheki Khans’ Palace, famous for its intricate frescoes and stunning architecture. Next, we’ll tour the ancient Upper Karvan-Saray, a historical caravanserai from the 17th century, and then head to the Albanian Church in Kish, believed to be one of the earliest Christian churches in the region. After a day filled with history, we’ll return to Baku by 19:00 and check into your hotel.
Enjoy your final breakfast at the hotel before checking out. Depending on your flight schedule, you may have the opportunity to visit the vibrant Yashil Bazaar, where you can purchase delightful souvenirs like dried fruits, traditional Azerbaijani tea, nuts, and sweets. Our friendly guide will assist you with your transfer to Heydar Aliyev International Airport, ensuring a smooth departure.
