Itinerary

Day 1Arrival in Tbilisi & City Tour

Upon your arrival at Tbilisi International Airport, you will be warmly greeted and transferred to your hotel. Official check-in begins at noon, allowing you some time to refresh and relax after your journey.

In the afternoon, meet your local guide for an exciting introductory tour of Tbilisi, Georgia’s vibrant and charming capital. Your first stop will be the iconic Monument to King Vakhtang Gorgasali, the legendary founder of the city. From here, enjoy breathtaking views overlooking the old quarters of Tbilisi.

Next, ascend by cable car to Narikala Fortress, a historic citadel that has protected Tbilisi since the 4th century. The panoramic views from its ancient walls reveal a captivating blend of old and new—church domes, modern glass architecture, and the sprawling city below.

Descend on foot into the Abanotubani district, famous for its traditional Sulphur bathhouses, whose domed brick roofs are a beloved symbol of the city. Stroll past Tbilisi’s only mosque, a unique example of religious harmony, before continuing along the lively Shardeni Street, a hub of cozy cafés, wine bars, and artisan shops.

Marvel at the whimsical clock tower of the Rezo Gabriadze Puppet Theatre, a fairytale-like structure that enchants both locals and visitors. End your walking tour at the Bridge of Peace, a stunning glass and steel pedestrian bridge that leads to the green oasis of Rike Park.

In the evening, at 19:30, delight in a traditional Georgian dinner at a local restaurant, where you will savor rich flavors and hear the soulful sounds of Georgian folk music. Return to your hotel for an overnight stay in Tbilisi.

Day 2Tbilisi – Jvari – Ananuri – Kazbegi – Tbilisi

After breakfast, your guide and driver will meet you at 08:30 a.m. for an unforgettable day exploring Georgia’s historic and natural wonders. The first stop is the iconic Jvari Monastery, a 6th-7th century masterpiece perched atop a hill, offering sweeping views of the confluence of the Mtkvari and Aragvi rivers. This UNESCO World Heritage Site holds immense religious significance as one of Georgia’s earliest Christian monuments.

Continue your journey north to the impressive Ananuri Fortress complex, once the seat of the Argveti Dukes. This 16th-17th century architectural treasure comprises ancient churches, defensive towers, and fortified walls, all set against the stunning backdrop of the turquoise Jinvali Reservoir — a perfect spot for memorable photos.

Your adventure proceeds to a fascinating natural phenomenon — the meeting point of two mountain rivers whose distinct colors remain separate even after merging, creating a mesmerizing visual contrast.

The scenic drive then ascends the Georgian Military Road, winding through the dramatic landscapes of the Caucasus Mountains. Pause at the Soviet-era “People’s Friendship” viewpoint, where a massive colorful mural celebrates Georgian-Russian friendship and offers panoramic views of the deep Aragvi Gorge.

The highlight of the day awaits in Kazbegi (Stepantsminda), where you’ll ascend to the iconic Gergeti Holy Trinity Church, dramatically perched at 2,170 meters above sea level. Surrounded by awe-inspiring mountain vistas and facing the majestic, often snow-capped peak of Mount Kazbegi, this site embodies the spiritual and natural grandeur of Georgia.

In the evening, return to Tbilisi for overnight at your hotel, carrying with you unforgettable memories of Georgia’s highland beauty.

Day 3:Tbilisi – Departure
