After breakfast, your exploration begins in the Old Town of Baku, known as Icheri Sheher. Discover the fascinating history of the city as you visit significant landmarks, including the Shirvanshahs’ Palace, the ancient Caravanserai, and the iconic Maiden Tower. From there, we’ll head to the Absheron Peninsula to visit Ateshgah, the fire temple that has attracted Zoroastrians from India for centuries. Next, witness the natural wonder of Yanardag Mountain, where flames have been burning for thousands of years due to natural gas. After returning to Baku, continue your sightseeing with a stroll down Nizami Street and Fountain Square, before concluding your day at the striking Heydar Aliyev Cultural Centre, designed by the renowned architect Zaha Hadid. This morning, meet your guide and driver at the hotel for an exciting journey to Khinalug, one of Azerbaijan’s oldest settlements. As you travel northwest from Baku, you’ll pass through the picturesque Red Village (Krasnaya Sloboda), home to the largest community of Mountain Jews in the country. The road to Khinalug winds through the stunning Great Caucasus mountains, reaching heights of 2,000 meters above sea level, providing ample opportunities for breathtaking photographs. Khinalug is famous for its ancient heritage, with continuous habitation for over 5,000 years. After exploring this unique village, we’ll make a stop at the Quba mass grave on our way back to Baku. Arrive back in the city for an overnight stay at your hotel.

At 08:00, depart from Baku and head towards Sheki. Your first stop will be the Diri Baba Mausoleum in the village of Maraza, an impressive historical site. Next, visit the beautifully restored Juma Mosque in Shamakhi, a significant cultural landmark. If the weather permits, we’ll drive through the scenic Girdimanchay River Canyon to reach Lahij, a quaint 5th-century village renowned for its rich history and charming cobbled streets. In the morning, embark on a city tour of Ganja, starting with a visit to the stunning Shakh Abbas Mosque, characterized by its two striking minarets. Stroll through Central Square and Sardar Baghi Park, taking in the local atmosphere, and make a stop at the Alexander Nevski Christian Orthodox Church. Afterward, we’ll drive to the picturesque town of Goygol. Here, you’ll visit Helenendorf, a village established in the early 19th century by German settlers, known for its unique architectural style. We’ll then switch to a 4WD vehicle to explore Goygol National Park, home to the breathtaking Goygol Lake, surrounded by lush forests and stunning scenery. After a day filled with natural beauty and cultural insights, return to Ganja for another overnight stay at your hotel.

This morning, we’ll depart Ganja and head towards the UNESCO World Heritage site of Gobustan National Park, a journey of approximately 300 km that takes about 4-5 hours. At Gobustan, you’ll visit the Petroglyphs Museum, where you can explore ancient rock carvings that date back to 10,000 BC, offering a glimpse into the lives of early humans. Next, we’ll continue our adventure to the unique mud volcanoes in the Gobustan Reserve, which is home to nearly half of the world’s mud volcanoes. After a fascinating day of exploration and discovery, we’ll return to Baku for an overnight stay, allowing you to relax and reflect on your incredible journey.

On your final day, check out from your hotel by noon. You’ll have some free time to explore Baku at your leisure, perhaps revisiting your favorite spots or indulging in last-minute shopping for souvenirs. When the time comes, our team will transfer you to Baku International Airport for your departure.
