Next, enjoy a scenic cable car ride up to the Narikala Fortress, an ancient citadel that once guarded the city. From its ramparts, you’ll be rewarded with sweeping panoramic views of Tbilisi’s unique cityscape—an unforgettable photo opportunity.

Descending on foot, we pass the iconic Sulphur Bath district, famous for its therapeutic hot springs. Along the way, we’ll glimpse Tbilisi’s only mosque, symbolizing the city’s long-standing multicultural heritage.

A leisurely stroll through the atmospheric Sharden area follows, where narrow cobbled streets are lined with quaint cafés, boutique wine bars, and artisanal souvenir shops.

We’ll cross the modern Bridge of Peace, a striking glass and steel structure, leading us to Rike Park, a favorite spot for locals and tourists alike. The day concludes with a visit to the State Museum of Silk, offering fascinating insights into Georgia’s historical role in Silk Road trade. Return to the hotel for overnight.

Day 3:Tbilisi – Sighnaghi – Gremi – Tbilisi

After breakfast, embark on a picturesque drive to Kakheti, Georgia’s celebrated wine-producing region and a historic Silk Road corridor. Our first destination is the charming hilltop town of Sighnaghi, often dubbed the “City of Love.” Encircled by impressive defensive walls with 28 watchtowers, Sighnaghi offers stunning views of the Alazani Valley and the Caucasus Mountains beyond.

Enjoy a guided city tour through its romantic streets, followed by a delightful Georgian wine tasting session, where you’ll savor the region’s rich winemaking traditions.

The journey continues to the Gremi Architectural Complex, a 16th-century fortress and former royal residence that once thrived as a Silk Road trading hub. Wander through its fortified walls, historic church, and medieval tower, all steeped in history.

In the evening, we return to Tbilisi. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 4:Tbilisi – Mtskheta – Uplistsikhe – Kutaisi

Next, visit the magnificent Svetitskhoveli Cathedral, a UNESCO World Heritage site revered as the burial site of Christ’s robe and a cornerstone of Georgian Christianity.

We’ll then experience authentic Georgian wine culture with a tasting session in the village of Chardakhi, immersing in the local traditions of viticulture.

Our adventure continues to the Uplistsikhe Cave Town, a remarkable ancient settlement dating back to the Hellenistic period. Here, explore rock-hewn streets, ancient temples, pagan altars, and Christian basilicas that echo centuries of cultural fusion.

We then journey to Khertvisi Fortress, strategically positioned at the confluence of important caravan routes. Built in the 10th century, it’s among Georgia’s oldest fortifications.

Our main destination today is Vardzia, a spectacular cave monastery carved into the cliffs of Erusheti Mountain. Built during the reign of Queen Tamar in the 12th-13th centuries, Vardzia is a remarkable multi-level complex featuring churches, living quarters, tunnels, and ancient frescoes that narrate stories of Georgia’s Golden Age.

This morning, we journey back to Tbilisi via Georgia’s lesser-known southern route, offering scenic landscapes of the Paravani Lake and Tsalka Reservoir.

Our first visit is to Dmanisi, a site of extraordinary archaeological significance. Once a prominent town of the Dumaniss Emirate in the 9th century, it’s now renowned for the discovery of 1.8-million-year-old hominid remains, providing crucial insights into early human migration.

Continue to Bolnisi, home to the ancient Sioni Cathedral, constructed between 478-493 AD. This is the oldest church still in existence in Georgia, notable for its early Georgian inscriptions and references to Sassanid kings. These inscriptions are among the earliest known examples of the Georgian alphabet.
