Upon your arrival at Tbilisi International Airport, you will be greeted by our friendly driver and comfortably transferred to your hotel. Official hotel check-in begins at 2:00 p.m., but you are free to relax and refresh after your journey.

Your adventure through Georgia commences with an immersive city tour of Tbilisi, where ancient history and vibrant modern life blend seamlessly. The first landmark you’ll encounter is the iconic Metekhi Church, perched above the Mtkvari River, alongside the majestic equestrian statue of King Vakhtang Gorgasali, the legendary founder of Tbilisi.

Next, a scenic cable car ride will whisk you up to Narikala Fortress, an ancient citadel offering breathtaking panoramic views of the city’s rooftops, winding streets, and the river below. Descending from the fortress, you’ll pass by Tbilisi’s famed Sulphur Bath District, a historical area known for its dome-shaped bathhouses, and see the city’s only mosque, a symbol of Tbilisi’s multicultural heritage.

Wander through the charming Sharden area, a maze of narrow cobbled streets lined with inviting cafés, boutique wine bars, and souvenir shops that capture the spirit of old Tbilisi. The tour continues with visits to the revered Sioni Cathedral, the ancient Anchiskhati Basilica, and the whimsical clock tower of the Rezo Gabriadze Theatre, a beloved landmark with its fairy-tale charm.

Cross the striking Bridge of Peace, a modern architectural marvel, to reach Rike Park, a lively riverside space. Conclude your cultural exploration with a guided visit to the National Museum of Georgia, home to an extraordinary golden collection of archaeological treasures spanning from the Bronze Age through to the 20th century.

In the evening, indulge in a delightful welcome dinner at a local restaurant, savoring the rich and diverse flavors of traditional Georgian cuisine. Return to your hotel for a restful overnight stay in Tbilisi.

Day 2Journey into Kakheti – The Cradle of Georgian Wine

After breakfast, embark on a scenic journey to the enchanting Kakheti region, renowned as the birthplace of Georgian winemaking traditions that date back over 8,000 years. Enjoy the picturesque drive through the Gombori Pass, where rolling hills and forested landscapes create a postcard-perfect backdrop.

Your first stop is Telavi, the historical and administrative heart of Kakheti. Stroll through its charming old streets and pause for photos at the monument to King Erekle II, a revered Georgian monarch and reformer.

Continue to the elegant estate of Tsinandali, once the residence of the noble Chavchavadze family. Explore the beautifully manicured English garden, the museum dedicated to Prince Alexander Chavchavadze, a 19th-century poet and public figure, and visit the wine cellar, where you’ll learn about Georgia’s traditional wine-making methods.

Next, visit the Bodbe Monastery, a serene spiritual site believed to be the burial place of St. Nino, the woman who brought Christianity to Georgia in the 4th century. Since the late 19th century, Bodbe has functioned as a convent, following the decree of Tsar Alexander III.

Your Kakheti exploration continues in Sighnaghi, fondly known as the “City of Love.” This charming town, perched atop a hill, is surrounded by impressive defensive walls with 23 towers and boasts panoramic views over the Alazani Valley. Wander its cobbled streets and soak in the romantic atmosphere.

In the evening, return to Tbilisi for an overnight stay, reflecting on a day rich in history, culture, and wine.

Day 3:Ancient Capitals and Majestic Peaks – Tbilisi to Kazbegi

Following breakfast, set off towards Mtskheta, Georgia’s ancient capital and spiritual heart, recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Visit the awe-inspiring Jvari Monastery, a 6th-century architectural masterpiece, perched atop a hill where you’ll witness the breathtaking confluence of the Aragvi and Mtkvari rivers.

Proceed to the grand Svetitskhoveli Cathedral, an essential landmark of Georgian Orthodoxy and the reputed resting place of Christ’s robe. The cathedral’s towering walls and sacred atmosphere leave a lasting impression.

Continue your journey to the Ananuri Fortress, a medieval architectural ensemble of fortifications, churches, and watchtowers overlooking the serene Zhinvali Reservoir. This picturesque complex offers both historical significance and stunning vistas.

The adventure proceeds along the legendary Georgian Military Highway, ascending through dramatic mountain landscapes to reach Kazbegi (Stepantsminda), a charming alpine town nestled at the foot of the awe-inspiring Mount Kazbek (5033 m), one of the tallest peaks in the Caucasus.

A highlight of the day is a visit to the Gergeti Holy Trinity Church, perched at an altitude of 2,170 meters. The panoramic views of Mount Kazbek and the surrounding valleys are truly unforgettable.

Overnight stay in Kazbegi, surrounded by the tranquility of the mountains.
