Itinerary

Day 1Arrival in Tashkent and Transfer to Bukhara

Your adventure begins in Tashkent, the vibrant capital of Uzbekistan, where you will be warmly welcomed by our driver. After settling in at our office and completing formalities, you will meet your guide for a fascinating sightseeing tour of Tashkent. Discover the historical Old City, home to the revered Khast-Imam Complex, where you can see the famed Quran of Caliph Uthman.

Explore the Barak-Khan Madrasah, Tilla Sheikh Mosque, and the mausoleum of Abu Bakr Kaffal Shashi. Don’t miss the bustling ChorSu Bazaar, and enjoy a ride on the Tashkent Metro to visit Amir Temur Square and Independence Square. In the evening, catch a flight to Bukhara, where you will check in at your hotel for a restful night.

Day 2Exploring Bukhara

On this day, you will embark on a walking tour of Bukhara’s UNESCO-listed historic center. Explore the enchanting Lyabi-Hauz Ensemble, the Magoki-Attori Mosque, and the famous Chor-Minor Madrasah. Visit the impressive Kalyan Minaret, Kalyan Mosque, and the Miri-Arab Madrasah, as well as the iconic Ark Fortress and Ismail Samani Mausoleum. You will also have time to stroll through the old city, soaking in the atmosphere of this ancient Silk Road city.

Day 3From Bukhara to Samarkand

After breakfast, your guide will take you to Sitorai Mokhi-Khosa, the summer residence of the last emir of Bukhara. You will also visit the Mausoleum of Bakhoutdin Naqshbandi before heading to Samarkand. On your way, stop at the historic Caravanserai Rabat Malik, dating back to the 11th century. Upon arrival in Samarkand in the late afternoon, check in to your hotel for the night.

Day 4: Discovering Samarkand and Returning to Tashkent

Meet your guide for a day of exploration in Samarkand. Visit the stunning Registan Square, the majestic remains of the Bibi Khanum Mosque, and the bustling Siab Bazaar. Delve into history at Ulugbek Observatory and the Shakhi-Zinda Necropolis. Your visit culminates at the Gur Emir Mausoleum, the final resting place of Tamerlane. Later, take a comfortable ride on the Afrosiyob high-speed train back to Tashkent. After arriving, transfer to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 5: Tashkent to Bishkek

After breakfast, check out from your hotel and head to Tashkent International Airport for an early flight to Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel for some rest. Later, enjoy a sightseeing tour that includes visits to Oak Park, Ala-Too Square, the Philharmonic Hall, the Statue of Manas, Victory Square, and the vibrant Osh Bazaar. The evening is free for you to explore on your own.

Day 6: Bishkek to Karakol via Cholpon-Ata

Depart from Bishkek and head towards Cholpon-Ata. On the way, visit the ancient Burana Tower, remnants of the old city of Balasagyn, and discover petroglyphs at an open-air museum in Cholpon-Ata, showcasing historical rock carvings from 500 BC to 100 AD. Continue your journey to Karakol, where you will have dinner and spend the night at your hotel.

Day 7: Karakol and Altyn Arashan Gorge

Start your day with a thrilling trip to Altyn-Arashan Gorge in a Russian 4WD vehicle. Known for its healing sulfur hot springs, Altyn-Arashan is a paradise for nature lovers. Enjoy some free time to hike, relax, or bathe in the hot springs before returning to Karakol. Upon your return, explore Karakol with visits to the Prjevalsky Museum, the Wooden Orthodox Church, and the Dungan Mosque, which features unique Chinese architecture.

Day 8: Karakol to Bishkek via Bokonbaevo

After breakfast, drive along the scenic southern shore of Issyk-Kul Lake as you return to Bishkek. Enjoy a traditional lunch with a local family before continuing your drive back to Bishkek, where you will have the evening free to explore at your leisure.

Day 10: Urumqi Sightseeing

Following breakfast, delve into the extensive Xinjiang Museum, a treasure trove of artifacts and cultural relics from the Silk Road and the Xinjiang region. After lunch, visit the Urumqi International Grand Bazaar, where you can shop for local crafts and savor delicious Xinjiang cuisine before returning to your hotel.
